Just wanted to thank everyone on here for posting deals. I try to bring ones I find to help out. Would have never given a prs a try without the deal posted here. I love my se 245. It was getting to the wire with these gift certificates. The stars came together and musiciansfriend got their shipment of grey black se custom 24 last night 3 months early. So I ordered one up and if I like it as much as I think I will I will be set.

At least untill they realease the se custom 7 string that is.

I have to agree with others that the site revamp is a mess. The main problem is that there's little separation between the body of a message, quoted text, and signature. It all runs together like a long Notepad file. I think even posts are only separated by a line break. 

Anyway, it looks like several people have posted reviews of the Monoprice guitars that a few of us talked about last month. The reviews are surprisingly good, if a bit hyperbolic.

I'm also curious about their new MIDI controllers (25-key model, 49-key model) and small-diaphragm condenser pair. Did anyone try the amPlug clones?

Those controllers and mics may be worth the try.  I'm definitely considering them.

Why are they testing out designs AFTER the made the switch? I haven't been complaining about this but I'm barely on here any more because it is hard to read. Right now they hae the EG page topics listed in black and white for every other thread. You can't read the ones in black. They have made improvements at times but why didn't they tests this crap out before switching? It isn't worth complaining over but the site is hard to view and makes me less interested in logging on. I'm trying to avoid this thread anyway!

Wasn't it 3 or 4 years ago HC completely murdered the best gear review database on the web with a redesign?  In fact that wasn't good enough so they dumped the input of thousands of reviewers guaranteeing that they'd never waste their time helping others that way again? 

Here's throat cut ver 2.0 but compared to that last data holocaust this is nothing.

PS I still have my MF $85 gift cert expiring in a few days and have no idea what I should get.  I was hoping for an interesting  deal to lead me to an idea. I was afraid I should have went with the music 123 deal instead.  At this point I'm thinking of a few cheap guitars or uke's and save them for Christmas toy drive donations but I don't trust to store them that long. 

Anything cool that could go with my new mustand floor?

I was in the same boat and choose the Zoom MS-50G only $99 - GC, seems like a lot og bang for the buck and should work well in the mustang loop.

You have to hit reply on their message, then hit quote (above the text box). Really a stupid way of doing it. However, you can't do it from mobile (which is why I can't quote you now).
