Suggestions on how to make this deal

I am looking to get a new Boss JS-10 that sells for $430 new at most of the typical sites.

What is the best way to get one for, hopefully, much less than this amount? Boss is usually exempt from deals.

What is the best way to get one

I say skip it and order a Boss Micro BR-80 instead - 90% of the features of the Boss JS-10 are already included in the Boss Micro BR-80.

$229 here:

Do you really want to spend $400 on a boss backing track player? What kind of tone will you get with those little speakers? Line 6 a similar looper\practice pedal... The JM4 I had one for a while, you can get one for about $150-200 used.

The Boss BR-80 is interesting but seriously, the Boss has many more features I am looking for than the Line 6. I know, I own one and have for a few years.

Don't want to make this a discussion on selection but rather I am just asking for help on how to get a better deal.

Well, to start zZounds has a promo code (FROSTY2012) that will work on it. That brings it down to 386.10. I'd get m123 to beat that. They might give you a hard time though because zzounds is out of stock at the moment. With a little persistence I'm sure they'll do it.

Good luck and nice avatar!

There's a JS10 on eBay right for 325.00. Seller appears to be very reputable. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Boss-eBand-J...item1e763b6e69

$38.15 - $13.99 = $24.16 and free shipping.

I could swear the math was wrong because it should be x1.23, not .23, but otherwise that would make the amp free and they'd owe me money. Did they do that right then?

I know it's a Behringer and people hate the name, but hey, even at $24, it's still a good practise amp.

At the price, best bet is to order from Amazon. I'm thinking of ordering two to use mostly as monitors for a modelling board...
UPDATE: So, naturally, I order two from Amazon yesterday. Then after I get home from work today, I have an email from M123 with a quote for $23.61! Annnd, they are magically showing "in stock".

UPDATE UPDATE: Just got a backorder notice that say will ship week of 2-6...grrrr....

Try the PM: Amazon shows 8 currently in stock, at $37.60.
This used to be a great place. Thanks, GCI, for killing it.
