I like the look of that bass. And it looks like Epi is outfitting these with some solid hardware. Lately the build quality on the better Epis I’ve seen is good and the fretwork is better than Gibson studios. I guess Henry J. is fighting hard to keep Schecter, Ibanez, and Gretsch from eating too many sales.

ordered a 355 from Zzounds in July 2012, still waiting for delivery. If the guitar is OK (and, I expect it will be) I think that SG is next. Firebird too. 40/1 gear ratio.

The SG looks killer, not sure how the vibrola with TOM bridge works, plus the headstock makes for weird friction at the nut..

I would do naughty things to that 339. I wonder about the finish though. What is that going to look like in 7 years? Awesome? Dated and dull? I must resist.
