**bleep**! Can't even use reply with quotes.
I had to squint really hard but I swear that is Max Headroom in your avatar.

I will say that the mobile site works pretty smoothly.
This site however...yuck.

I think it's ok.

it's ok... it's working well... there's a few things i'd like to see sorted but it's only been a minute... i'm happy to wait and see

What? You're not going to get angry, fill yourself with hate and threaten to never come back like everybody else? That's just too civil for me.
Look, I'm with you, it works, I'll give it a chance. I am sure they can tweak it before we bring forth the apocalypse.

I don't hate it. It's not very intuitive, though.

I like the feel of TGP infinitely more than wahtever this is, but that site goes down every night. And you have pay to use the site.

Um, no.
It did get a bit better when I put a "Stylish" style sheet for mozilla that another forumite posted, and it's nice that you can actually post, but overall it blows, and I don't mean like the wind.

I'm willing to give it some time for A) me to get used to and B) them to tweak it to get things together.
Seems like they've already done some stuff. Like the quote boxes are coming up shaded in gray now, which makes them eaiser to read in context.
And the rich text box is now automatically returning down lines when you type to the end.
Some of you really need to click some **bleep** and experiment cause a lot of the stuff people are **bleep** about can be changed or YOU can DO it.
Here....mellow out and listen to some winger...

Get rid of the **bleep** background and I'd be fine with the rest of it.
Please?

It runs, so there's that. I hope it's more stable.
The layout is very crude, but I'm hopeful that those bugs will be ironed out.

Absolutely horrible. Can someone please explain to me how this is an improvement on the old layout/format?
Navigating it is a nightmare and I'm **bleep** if I'm wasting my time trying.
Goodbye HC,it's been fun.

When looking at a main topic, like Electric Guitars, can the subject column be made wider? I am seeing a lot of 4 and 5 line topic subjects. The other columns could be made narrower.
Just a suggestion.

Best first post ever!!!

Don't like it.
I mean, it works, which is cool for a change. I have barely been here for ages - tried many times over the past couple months or so but topics either didn't load, took forever to load, etc. and I had decided taking most of my lunch break to *try* to read through one thread just wasn't worth it.
I think it looks terrible though. That chrome plugin posted helps a lot, but still there is just soooo much space everywhere, and everything is spread and buffered so much it's kind of ridiculous. I much prefer simple box-format text blocks like what we had pre-2.0, or what ZAM uses. A simple 1-line post has no need to take up 25% of my screen height.
But whatever, at least it (seems to be) actually working so I'll give 'em that.

Nope, dislike. Can't seem to change the number of threads per page. I can't turn avatars off? I can change the font size, but it's still hard to read/look at. I'd like a quick reply box and a "return to forum" button at the bottom of each page in a thread. I hope/assume they'll fix this stuff eventually.

well, if you don`t like it wait a short while, it`ll change again.

i quite like it now that there are some fixes from forum members to clean up some of the space.
