Today I had a little time to work on this project. I got the neck pocket cut out today. Easy with a cheap little Japanese saw from Harbor Frieght. I'm gonna get my woodworking bud to make me a neck block of the exact thickness I need. Ive decided to use up the stuff in my parts drawer. Im gonna chop an old bridge that came off my old Rogue tele, and use the old Rouge neck pickup as well. No plans for a tone, just vol and output jack. I was gonna chop the bridge today but Im outta hack saw blades, so maybe tomorrow. Im going to initially set it up as a six string to get everything lined up correctly, but I will eventually recut the nut for 5 strings with wider spacing. Thinking Keef/Cooder G tuning, primarily for slide.

Nice. I am debating whether or not to slap a guitar or uke neck on one of the boxes I have. I have the electronics for a guitar, but I am thinking about goin with the uke. Hell, I guess I should just do both.
