I don't know why I have always wanted a double cut LP. I sold my Strat and was going to buy another LP or SG. My GF bought me a LP Jr Special when she got her taxes as a late x-mas present. I just couldn't stop my fingers from typing in a bid.....

She has some dings around the edges,but expected for a guitar that was played and that old. The top looks great. I truely wasn't planning on buying it,just couldn't help myself,LOL

Congrats - they are fabulous guitars. I picked up a 1980 Hawk last year that had been stripped, and re-fitted it with modern parts including locking tuners and US made Dimarzio iBZ pickups. It's now one of my faves alongside an early 80s A20V.
