I like the overall package, though I am a bit undecided on the matching headstock.

Nope.  I don't like the overly figured top. Nor do I have much use for active pickups.

And you should make these polls.

No!

There are 11 days left this month (after which I'm hoping you quit given the trend) - what the heck is next?

Stupid comment. First, because these are very enjoyable threads that many of us are looking forward to. Secondly, when a forumite gives of his time every day to search for something interesting and different to submit and take the time to post it and keep it going, there are only two appropriate response : one is thankfulness and participation and the other one is stay out and shut up if you're not interested.

Pretty hot, although that pic doesn't do it justice.  I'd rather have the 6 string version, but it's still cool.

Hmm.. I hadn't even considered that poll-making might no longer be an option or obfuscated to an extent that it's nigh impossible

Re: Hot or Not? February 17th

The PRS-alike shape and active pickups make it a "Not" for me. Everything else screams quality. I'd love to demo a Carvin someday.

I own and love a Carvin CT4..  It's the best guitar I've ever touched in my life.

That said, I hate the 7 string versions of the CT guitars.  Totally wrong vibe for that style of guitar. An abomination in the Carvin lineup.

Nice to look at. I'd never play one, though; no need for active pickups, seven strings.

Re: Hot or Not? February 17th

Can we please ban the Taliban^?

The guitar has too many strings and too much flame.
I also do not like active pickups.
Other than that its ok.

  • I think seven-string "guitars" are silly
  • I love the "Hot or Not ?" thread
