Some guitarists have vibrato down so well that it seems superhuman. Carlos Santana and Prince can bend a note back and forth so well that the guitar sounds like a violin. Who else plays like this?

Robin Trower, Gary Moore I don't think of Carlos as using much vibrato though. Quite the opposite. He's great with sustain, but he usually holds the note still.

Warren Haynes has a great vibrato! Mind you imo he has mastered every technique he uses.

Mick Ronson does some stuff on the Bowie albums (particularly Man Who Sold The World and the live Santa Monica '72 semi-bootleg) on a Les Paul which I would've sworn was impossible without a wiggle stick.

Zakk Wylde has an awesome vibrato.

Yes, he gets hacked on a lot for whatever but his vibrato is incredible. His obvious ones are so obvious that the less intense go unnoticed.

IMHO, the hands-down best vibrato technique belongs to Gary Rossington. His technique (which he copied from Kossoff) is amazing. His vibrato is like the sultry breath of a lover in your ear during the throes of passion. Angus Young is right up there as well. His style is completely different, but his vibrato is like a man connected to a, well, live wire. Hard, fast, and spot on. Kinda grabs you by the short-and-curlies and takes you for a ride.
