Re: Guitar Pictures.

So about 2004 I found this guitar in pieces in a box in one of the outer buildings on my mothers property. I was moving my sister at the time and did not think too much about it other than is was a guitar in pieces. I threw it in my truck and then in my barn when I got home. About a year or so after that I remembered that I put it in the barn and went to check it out. It turns out that it was a 1971 or so Fender Stratocaster. I spent the next two to three years bringing it back to a usable instrument.

At first I thought that it might have been owned by Hiram Bullock as he attended many of our family parties and quite often forgot something. Turns out that it was not his but still a great find none the less.

I know that I have posted this before but recently I have been taking better images of some of the pieces that I have...

Re: Guitar Pictures.

Not the best pics in the world, but it'll do...

Two brand new Guild T500s. Only 25 made. These are #10 and #18

Closer shot of #10...

Not really a guitar pic, but here's some innards of an all-original Ampeg B15 fliptop

Re: Guitar Pictures.

Not a NGD by any means but I was sitting outside playing this morning and figured I might as well take advantage of the light and get a few photos.

At one point I almost traded it in towards something a bit more normal but i'm so glad I didn't.

It might not be everyone's cup of tea but I rather like it.

Lovely MOP inlays.

Bone nut, beautiful ebony fretboard with well dressed stainless steel frets

Nice 18:1 Gotoh tuners with ebony buttons

Lovely 1 piece mahogany neck

Solid Rosewood body with exquisite herringbone binding.

Solid Sitka Spruce top with rosewood inlays, ebony bridge, bone saddle, and ebony bridge pins.

Hand crafted in Japan at the Taneda factory.

Thanks! I need some time to do some more artistic shots, but I love the way all three of those photos turned out.

Re: Guitar Pictures.

Not artsy at all, but I was curious how an anodized gold pickguard would look on a Fiesta Red (with rosewood) strat.

Interesting, but I still favor mint.
