Re: Guitar Pictures.

Most beautiful collection of LPs I've ever seen, GD, but that tea-burst plaintop on the left is absolutely gorgeous. Cheers!

thank you, Preacher! that was my first gibson Reissue and it is an amazing guitar. i do play it often, even if the sticker is still on the pickguard. i never got around to taking it off and then when people started commenting on how i should take it off, that was my cue to leave it on...

thank you again, S_O, for the interest!
With a collection like that how can I not take some interest? =)

So when do we get to see a picture of the full Les Paul family together?

i should have kept going this weekend once i had all the reissues out. this coming weekend will be pleasantly hectic with friends visiting from out of town, but if i can find an hour or so, then i will take a shot at it. i need more stands, or will have to slide some additional chairs into the picture. or i could just stack them on the floor like yngwie and his vintage strats...

Thanks! Nikon D200. I usually shoot with the lens wide open or fairly close to it. Sometimes I like to boost the contrast a little bit. Sunlight is always fun to play with. I've not had that chance with my new blue quilt top yet - only clouds.

that's a nice camera, according to the reviews out there. sun or clouds, your pictures are some of the best i've seen around here. the fact that your guitars are unbelievable too doesn't hurt

Re: Guitar Pictures.

i picked up this 2005 Tom Anderson Pro Am in funky-cool "bowling ball" finish a while back, and it is the super-strat to end all super strats. everything about this guitar is flawless; the neck is perfect, and everything feels very, very well put together. the humbuckers can be tapped, and the frets are stainless steel. the finish probably isn't for everyone, but i've wanted one of these ever since i saw a picture of one just like this in the 90s. when this arrived, i was able to take another "dream guitar" off the list.

i was playing this one yesterday for a little while, and it is even more stunning in person that my pics allow. it's got a thick Koa top and a really nice tone.

and here it is with some "colleagues".
