Most definitely yes. I've always wanted one of the set-neck Teles like this (I've seen them in other woods as well, I believe I saw a koa one a few year back I'd like even more than this).

Would look great with a different finish... I'm thinking dark cherry red or something

needs a case, otherwise OK.

I want to like it, I probably should like it, but for whatever reason, I don't. Not hot. Most teles are pretty hot for me, but this one isn't.

Pretty much a Tele Showmaster, isn't it? Didn't Fender produce them under the Showmaster name for a year or two?

I'd love to have one... But does it still have a Tele vibe?
In that it looks like one, yes.
To me they're sort of the perfect bastard child of a Tele and a Les Paul. Humbuckers, set neck, Fender hardtail bridge, master volume & 25.5" scale.
The only down side is that some of the ones I tried out a few years ago had the thickest, stickiest feeling poly coat of any instrument I've ever played. I think the newer ones are better.

I think it looks phenomenal but I've had less than stellar experience with Indo builds.
