I just got a PM on a satin yellow Melody Maker for $366. I have a few days to decide if I'm going to buy it or not. It's not like I need another guitar.

Well, for me I don't understand why people are put off. I mean the biggest change is in the look of the forum. From my vantage point anyway. I've said this before, but: I'm sticking around cause I can't think of another place to go.
Changing subjects, I happened to be downstairs putting some papers away and I looked at a couch we have down there. I thought of the husky we lost in November. She used to love to lay on that couch. There are still her hairs on the couch. I started tearing up again. It is taking a long tome to get thru my sorrow over my special girls.
Our dogs are very special to us. They're like our children. I've got 4, two old ones and two that are just past two yrs old.
Our toy fox terrier named Spin is almost 13. He's got an innoperable tumor in his bladder. It causes him to feel like his bladder is always full. Also, he keeps geting bladder infections. We give him medicine for the inflamation which may also help to slow the growth of the tumor. He doesn't have much time left. I'm guessing he will eventually be taken down by an infection. But, so far, he seems to be doing pretty well considering he's living on borrowed time. He's also deaf and partly blind at this point.
Our other old dog is Dreamer, a shitzu, also 13. She has arthritis and is mostly blind at this point as well. Also, she seems to be losing her mind a bit in her old age.
Our two young dogs are chihuahuas, Bailey and Chloe. They turned two in december. Here's a funny pic of them being needy when they were very young puppies. I was glad I had my iPhone in my pocket to capture this moment.

I really didn't need to see that.
This is one of those cases where the picture tells the story. And, it's a funny story.

JR - Yes - I remember you have a couple dogs that are getting up there. I lost my Dad a few years back - but I swear loosing 2 of our 3 dogs last year was harder.
When loss is sudden or unexpected, that can make things harder.

I got my SG. I may end up selling the Cort or I may flip this. I haven't decided yet. This is a '61 Reissue.

Morning kids.
I think I'm going to a funeral in a few hours. A mom, probably my age or younger, has 3 kids not yet out of high school, and one older. She had cancer and had been sick a long time. She and the kids went/go to our church. I didn't know her very well because she was often too sick to come to church, but one of her daughters is the same age as El Krashpadito and was in his Confirmation class. With it being mid-week especially, I'm guessing it's going to be difficult for a lot of people to make it, so I'd like to go and support the family.
