Hey, I love this forum and appreciate all those who are making an effort to keep it going.  We can talk shit here and not be moderated to the shit house, I appreciate that.  Sure there are other forums of which I am a member of, but I do feel comfortable here and would like to thank everyone else who is making an effort to post and keep this place alive!

This place will be jumping again in a few months. People just have to get used to it. Format changes are kind of like be forced to move to a new neighborhood.

It's nice to see a positive word. Even if you do say shit twice....that's why they'll be back...freedom of speech.

I am optimistic that this place will be "the" place to hang again. I feel more comfortable knowing I have the freedom to swear/cuss and use poor grammar without being hassled.+ we are accepted even when we do not have 5K Custom Shop guitars or boutique amps and pedals.

most days around here, i think it's actually the opposite- despite having more expensive gear, i'm accepted (i think).

I haven't been posting a lot, but that's more about me and all I have going on right now. I still think it's a great forum. I don't love the new look/feel, but I'm sure it will improve over time. HCEG has always been about the diversity of people here, all drawn by the love of the instrument. Lots of differing opinions, but a wealth of knowledge also. People come and go, but there always seems to be a good core of contributors. Or super, I guess.

Lots of good people and info here. It used to be a bit wilder, but still some good entertainment. The price for a ticket is good also.
