Tattoo artist will exchange work for just about anything they deem of value to them, also the price of a good artist can run awfully high depending on notoriety.

Re: Do people really offer tattoos for gear?

Now if only Colorado's new laws allowed trading of "vegetables" for gear. I can't eat "veggies" anymore really, I'd love to exploit that. lol.

Re: Do people really offer tattoos for gear?

see it all the time around here, but I would never got for that. Its probably some hack doing shitty work in his kitchen. No thanks, I'll rather not have hepatitis or aids from some douchebag who has never heard about cross contamination. I hightly doubt any respectable artists in legitimate shops with proper health procedures are offering tattoo trades...

Re: Do people really offer tattoos for gear?

Doesn't work :smileysad: I went to the local store and tried trading the tattoo of a maltese cross that I got on my scrotum in 1976 for a 70's tribute LP Studio. The bastards just called the police.

Re: Do people really offer tattoos for gear?

Thank jeebus. I was planning on getting one in what we've just come to learn is a person's 'green zone'. Glad I opted out of the dome tat.

Re: Do people really offer tattoos for gear?

My green zone tat is socially acceptable but hardly rebellious. Do I have enough Vox gear, though. That's the real question. And the answer is no. Never enough Vox.
