You would most likely have to relocate the bridge.

Correct, and it would not be worth the trouble, I just sold the pickups out of the black guitar to a buddy... the black guitar and neck are ment for each other,, It is a hack job, but it would be a cool fixer up project for someone. I will sell the black for $75 shipped conus.. without pickups.
