Pickguard/pickup/knobs color combinations you think would look good

I'd definitely switch to a black pickguard. I think they look way better with natural finishes. Then maybe keep the rest white, or go with something like chrome?

I like the black, but most naturals I see with a black guard have a maple neck. Not sure how it would look w rosewood. Guess I need to get over to Kisekae

I like the black/rosewood combo on my hollowbody, but that has a sunburst body, not natural. I actually cant remember what my Fender's neck is, but it's got a black guard on a natural body.

Really, I think going all black is your only option but a good one.  Things tend to look too busy with anything other than black or white on a natural.  

Black it up!  Pickguard, knobs, covers too.

Black gaurd /pickups /knobs, AND black hardware / screws. Some blank covered singles (ala EMG or similar) would complete the look---or possibly a set of rail pickups.

Wylde L45S rails would be my 1st choice, but thats $138.

May put in a set of strat Keystones for $84. I trust Bills pickups, not sure about anything else.

I have a GFS rail going in an el cheapo Esquire project, if I like it, I may go that route.

I also have a couple of GFS lipsticks going in another tele. If I really like those, a set of 3 and chrome knobs would look pretty sweet on the strat with a black guard..

Am painting the 2 teles, so I'm waiting for warmer weather to try out the GFS pickups in them.

I have a tort guard with cream knobs/covers on mine. I think aged pearloid would look good.

Decided to go all black. Ordered a kit from mojotone, black backplate, pickup covers, pickguard, knobs, switch tip and trem arm tip.
Will post a pic when I get it together. Decided to wait on the pickups and trem block.
