I like ALOT of different music.
But there are a few bands I cannot stand: Guns & Roses is at the top of my list.
WHO ARE THE BANDS YOU HATE...THAT EVERYBODY ELSE LOVES ?

I live in Asia, and the Jpop Kpop crap is driving me homicidal. Don't know if manufactured crap like that counts as bands or what, but if I hear "Hey Sexy Lady" one too many times I will not be responsible for any mayhem that ensues.

I suppose the only singer, band, or whatever that I come the closest to hating is Eminem. I really dislike his voice and public image, and I can't think of any song of his that I like at all.
Agree with this^^^^^^^^^
I can't see/hear/care how anyone ever heard that whiney azz, wimpy voice of his and said "yeah, we got to record this."
Honorable mention to hot selling, yet suck ass bands goes to:
Kings of Leon
Fall Out Boy

Jackson Browne & Dream Theatre both suck unwiped trucker ass.
Wouldn't walk downstairs to my basement to hear either play for free.
Edit: If John Mayer puts out another s)hitty album like his last two, which both sound like
songs so boring that Jackson Browne would reject for one of his lamo albums.... then he is going on my overated and suxx list too.
Mayer--- Stick to stuff like the TRIO and ripping off Hendrix.....
You can't sing for a limp dick, and your lyrics aren't exactly Taupin or Dylan.... so play blooze and STFU.

I doubt anyone here likes it but young girls love that techno dance music, you know, with the predictable accelerated drums into infinity then doof doof doof. Luckily I'm not young and dating as I couldn't date someone who listened to that shite. My gym plays it 24-7, I wear DJ headphones and work-out to classic rock.

Queen, never did get that circus.
Yeah, no s)hit....
When the worlds greatest frontman meets up with one of the Top 5 most innovative guitarist in music history, and they get together with the most underated rock drummer in the Hall of Fame, and a bassist who could hold is own, and write 7 songs in his career (2 of which became #1 smash hits).......and they form a band where just about every song sounds different....ie: Hard to believe that... Rock You, Champions, Dust, Crazy Little Thing, Fat Bottom, Bo Rhap, Killer Queen, Dragon Attack, Spread Your Wings, Somebody to Love, Liar....(add 100 more) are all the same band....same 4 guys....
Yeah....what's up with that circus.
Queen >>>>>> over boring ass Doors, Zeppelin, Rush, Deep Purple, Styx, Foghat, Metallica, Guns N Roses,....etc...
Beatles & Stones only other bands that are in the same league as Queen.

Oh no no no...keep 'em coming. I can immediately base my credibility/respect judgement on these answers. I can't believe this thread is in an Electric Guitars forum and only slightly over a dozen posts strong and already Queen, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and the Rolling F-cking Stones have all been mentioned....by guitar players...who HATE these artists. lol. This is literally the most interesting thread on the Internet right now.

Props to the guy who hates Queen. I don't agree, but I like that at least someone gets the title of this thread. Queen gets a pass with me because of Revenge of the Nerds and Wayne's World.
I'm going to go with a band that has commercial success and music critic success and internet forum dweeb success also. Pearl Jam. I hate those guys. Complete mediocrities who by brute force excessive radio play have somehow implanted a handful of songs in our brains. Took grunge and crashed it into the goddamned mountain long before Nickelback and Creed came along. They seem to me like a parody of what they're trying to be.
