Alright, this is not to start a whole new maple vs. other stuff thread.
Can anybody answer these questions :
1) does baked maple come with a clearcoat on it like regular maple fretboard? for instance on recent Gibsons?
2) for those who have been using it for long sessions and possibly live : how does it take sweat ? any signs of premature wear and tear?
3) have you noticed any weird reactions to the usual chemicals (oils, etc.) generally used for fretboard maintennace ?
4) BM has a reputation for being particularly stable ? any experience with fretboard adjustments with it? any more or less frequent than with other woods?
Thanks a lot!

its less porous than rosewood so it doesnt take to darkening with oil like rosewood does. You can oil it to darken but it gets rubbed off eventually.
