Lately I've been trying to carefully watch what I eat and keep a small log of the amount of protein, carbs and dietary fiber I consume throughout the day. I knew I was a pretty healthy person to begin with but I thought, why not? After keeping the log for a few weeks I've realized I typically eat 3 healthy, well balanced meals a day consisting of about 15 grams of protein, and a varying amount of carbs. The carbs vary because I usually have something starchy like rice or pasta as well as some veggies but don't always eat at the same times, so I'm either starved, or just semi hungry. I really think I could add some fruit in more often though, as it has a higher glycemic index and would keep me fuller for longer periods. This week got off to a rough start however, and I consumed 1 krispy kreme doughnut yesterday morning, and today I had a brownie that was about 3" x 3". It was delicious, but I really need to remember that snacks like those contain little to no nutritional value whatsoever and just leave me wanting more. Love, Dustin
Well there was this tasty orange frosted sugar cookie in the shape of a pumpkin and I took it down without mercy. I plan to do the same to its brethren. Perhaps I should keep a food diary and we can share our exploits? Also subs seems upset about his butt art.
