goaded by james i picked up this amp yesterday.  66 fender super reverb.  i believe it to be all original, perhaps you guys can enlighten me.  rca tubes.  fellow even gave me some sylvania tubes he thinks came out of her.  original footswitch too. sounds wonderful.  vibrato has some motorboating.

i removed the back panel to view the iron.  think these are cts speakers, stamps are covered by the fender speakers, but the beginning of one of em can be seen, starts off "13".

That's your best amp evar. There are mods for the term pump but you know that. New pre-amp tubes might help with that too. Look up the schematic and find which is the trem driver and swap it.

she left yesterday to buy a soda and goldfish, gave me a chance to knock the dust of the cones.   

 

breaks up around 5 with my p90 equipped sg jr, and sounds glorious.  at 7 it begins to get fuzzy and sounds even better!   

would love to be in a band where i could use it that way.  

we'll take the super and deluxe to my church and jam when you get here.
