Effects - Pedals, Multi-Effects, and Floor Boxes

I was all set to pick up a vox pathfinder 15r this month, but it looks like they've been discontinued (sweetwater, musicians friend, sam ash all show that). 

I really like that amp--my bass player has one. 

What a good alternative (beyond looking for a used one, that is)?  I didn't care for the fender solid state mustangs.

Do you know yet if they're replacing it with anything else? Maybe an updated version of the same thing?

Not sure--on the vox forums they said it's still in production in the UK, but they weren't sure about the US.

Rumors are that the pathfinder was cutting into the VR sales too much in the US.

yea you should easily be able to find a used one for like $70. does this mean that they will go up in price now finally?? fuck. i gave mine away

keep a look out for the cambridge 30r 1x10 "big boy" version of the pathfinder from that same era, and the SMR head and 2x10 or 4x8 cab as they are now going to shoot up even more in price

Thanks for the heads up. I know a local guitar store that had them in stock less than two weeks ago. I'll go down tonight and try to scoop one up.

Guitar Center has one for $50 in their used gear section. Doesn't include tax/shipping, but shouldn't be that much.

My Pathfinder has been on semi-permanent loan to my friend's son for the past 2 years. I'm looking at the Fender Mustang I for low volume/silent practicing.

Not much else in that price range. I would check all the craigslist you can drive to in 1-2 hours...

The AC4 is about $170 used, and has very limited clean headroom
