Wait...You've owned A TON of Boss peds, including a couple pricey collectable ones, but you never tried a DS-1? Kinda weird, but good for you sir:smileyhappy:

well I did try the DS-1, but never owned one
I remember back in the day, I was mowing lawns and saving up all my pocket money to buy gear. I firsdt saved up for an electric, the next year I got an amp (Peavey Classic) and then I moved on to getting pedals,
but I was not interested in the dirt pedals, I got an OD-1 because the shop owner said it was the pedal that everyone bought, but I preferred the OD channel on my Peavey, the Peavey also had a built-in phaser so I did not look at the phasers, but everything else Boss came out with, I had to try and I am even a bit surprised to see myself the list of compact pedals I still own, from my old pedals, the only pedal that stayed is the DD-2 ...

the SP-1 and SG-1 I got out of curiosity,

the only pedal I regret selling now is the VB-2, since they now are so overpriced.

I got mine for 25$ and once found another one for 90$ but thought it was too expensive, changed my mind, went back the next day and it wasd gone

there used to be a time in the early nineties when you could score Boss pedals very cheap

yeah, their new prices, save for the ds1 and sd1, are pretty outrageous.

pn-2 is inferior to the tr-2, unless you are running stereo

[ Edited ]
Stereo is why I want it, thx.

I've played them before. Just haven't been able to call one mine.
My brother has an excessive amount of old desirable 70's pedals; early EHX, ADA, all of the landmine Boss and Roland stuff, and most of the cool early boss and other make boss sized pedals. I've played most of them. But thanks for the concern. :smileyhappy:
