is it fair to say the peak of Boss' creativity was from '84 to '97 or so? when guitar bands ruled the radio waves..

Yeah. The 80s and 90s look awesome. The first decade of 2000s is really patchy. 30% of the time yet only 17% of the pedals.... I'm shocked the eh-2 lasted 8 years though...

worst year, 2001, the MD-2 and PH-3 are the worst pedals they ever made. BOSS still rules imo
