the ones i have in mind are:
Pharaoh
Sarcophagos
Ritual

Is there something on the Earthquaker Devices range that I should definitely get? I like the Monarch, although its not really a fuzz pedal.

The deal is, if I get the Sarcaphagos, then that's it...that's my budget gone...if i get anything else, i could stretch to buying 2 pedals (1 BAT and 1 EQD maybe)

Is there something else anyone recommends? I currently only have a Big Muff and a Bass Big Muff (which i really like) and Dirty Rat that i set very close to Fuzz...so my pedal board is pretty limited as far as Fuzz tones go.
The pharaoh land the revelation are my favorite of the BAT stuff right now, although they are all really good. The pharaoh is just one of those pedals everyone should have though. My favorite of the EQD line, and one of my favorite fuzzes in general, is the hoof. That thing sounds so amazing. So fucking heavy and so much volume. I am surprised not to see it on more doom boards. You would do well to try one out.

Re: The Doom Room: HCFX Edition

Holy shit Trey! I was just listening to your soundcloud of Pharaoh vs Musket and at 2:30 you play the main riff from our tune Lion Storm. That's rad!

And I've been saving my pennies (because that's all they give me!) and I finally sold some dumb crap last night and I now have enough money in hand to not feel like an asshat asking particulars about a metal fab shop doing my work. The Ape Blaster is looming on the horizon!

Also I'd like to third the Galaxicon love. Shit is HOT

Lastly I have total bassboner GAS because of Riffer's Vantage double-p. My god this axe!

Fucking ace. But you only have three dirt pedals.
and only one of them is fuzz

I've got it set up for a longer sweep that sounds great with lots of dirt and the Phase 45 is set for a fast rate that sounds great on cleans (Or as clean as my amp will be. I usually have it running at 7 or higher on my pre).
yeah I tend to prefer the phase 90 at like 1 o'clock ish and the phase 45 is even more subtle even at those kinds of speeds which sounds awesome to me. Also yeah, I'd just build the GGG kit. I think I've decided that other than a loop-master pedal I need and a whammy pedal I'm probably going to build the rest of my pedals.

I want a green ringer, 2 fuzzes of some sort(undecided there) a WHRL, a parked wah, and an octave pedal which I'll likely have to go through BYOC to get the kit for which is fine.

I'll take them all. I'm not so interested in a bass OCD, but a JCM/JMP, GT120 and super high voltage RAT is definitely my cut of tea. We still have to discuss how we're going to build the tube Wizard pedal.

Re: The Doom Room: HCFX Edition

Bass OCD will be like a regular OCD but with baxandall tone stack, some recovery gain due to baxandall losses. A few clipping options as well. Should be a killer pedal

Re: The Doom Room: HCFX Edition

It's back, it's huge, it's louder than before. Jeff from Matamp is a **** and an idiot and can't build amps. Stuart Anstis my tech rebuilt the whole power amp from schematics of a 70's PICS only model. Nearly all the components Jeff charged me for were cheap, nasty and not working. The tube sockets were LOOSE and causing arcing, all the caps were blown, and dozens of minor components were fucked AFTER he fixed it. Tit.
