Or, if you prefer, The Wizard of Floyd, or Dark Side of the Rainbow. Whatever you call it, I suppose it was only a matter of time before someone put up a YouTube video.
I know that everyone involved says there is nothing to it, and I believe them. Still, a surprising amount of parts seem to work well together.
Nick Mason said DSOTM had nothing to do with The Wizard of Oz, and that instead, it was based on The Sound of Music... I thought that was brilliant.
Has anyone seen that new WoO prequel? Is it any good?

The Wizard of Oz prequel is called Oz The Great And Powerful. Rolling Stone panned it pretty hard. I've heard mixed reviews at best.

I think the album is based on the Edgar Allen Poe short story The Mask of the Red Death, which is about a party thrown to hide from a plague in a large hall with a room for each color of the rainbow. At the end (spoiler alert) someone masquerading as death (a lunatic in the hall?) comes and kills everyone, and the whole thing is about the futility of trying to hide from time and death. I believe there may even be a similar coda at the end.
The Oz prequel with few exceptions is a pretty generic hollywood movie, I felt there wasn't enough to draw me into the plot or it's fantasy world. Which is exatly what I expected, but I'm still pretty disapointed. I find the lack of sets in these movies deadening.

Best T-Shirt ever from WOOT! I just wish the actual shirt was in black. That green just doesn't look good on me.
