It was good like that. Did I miss the memo about them being somewhere specific or am I just blind?

The spam threads have been "floated" (Lithium-speak for stickied) and should be at the top of the forum's thread list. I'll continue to update them weekly, as usual.

I can't see any stickies either.

How about now?
There's a couple of different things in the board options - one is float to top (which I'm starting to think is done on an individual basis - you can sticky threads for yourself) and also a float to top for all users option. I converted all the stickies to the later option, and unless I miss my guess, that should make them appear as "stuck" for all users, and not just me. Sorry about that guys... I'm still getting familiar and used to all the new stuff too.

works for me. also, personal stickies? that sounds pretty cool
Yeah, if it works the way I think / hope, you guys can probably create your own individual stickies that will apply only to your own view of the forum. BRB...

Okay, I used an alt (ban me!
) and tested it, and it does indeed work! In addition to whatever stickies ("floated threads") I create, you all can set up your own individual, personalized sticky "floated") threads. Here's how:
Select the thread you want to float by clicking on it. Once it loads, at the top of the page, on the left hand side (right next to the blue "Reply" button) is "Topic Options". Click on that, and in the dropdown box that appears, select "Float this Topic to the Top". That's it! The thread will now be stickied at the top of the forum until you decide to unstick it.
To unstick / unfloat a thread, the procedure is basically the same, except you select Un-Float This Topic.
The Topic Options menu is also where you can subscribe to a thread, get the RSS feed, bookmark it, etc.

Give it a try - it actually works really well, and allows you to keep the threads that are important to you, or that you want to check back into later, up at the top of the forum. ![]()
