Re: Seas, Starry: instrumental, ambient guitar stuff

Triple ebow's got to sound really nice live and loud.

Nice pedal selection.

Re: Seas, Starry: instrumental, ambient guitar stuff

We got a rough live recording of the 3 EBows song (Middle) and yes, it sounds huge. I can't wait to get the full band recorded.

Re: Seas, Starry: instrumental, ambient guitar stuff

Hello all, here is a new song titled "River for Joni" as a nod to the Joni Mitchell song "River".

http://seasstarry.bandcamp.com/track/river-for-joni

It will probably be the last song that is recorded entirely by myself.

I'll give this a selfish bump to the top.

All the music on the Seas, Starry bandcamp is free to download, so go ahead. I hope that you enjoy it! And yes, I am looking for feedback on the latest song "River for Joni".

This is a rehearsal recording of the song "Big, Dirty Boyz", which we're all pretty happy with. We've also set up a facebook page for the band, which you can find in my signature.

Sounds like the Flanger Hoax on track 7. Return. Probably used it on some other songs too, right?

Re: Seas, Starry: instrumental, ambient guitar stuff

Nope! I don't have a Flanger hoax! I don't think that I used any modulation effects on Return, it's just distorted guitars.

Re: Seas, Starry: instrumental, ambient guitar stuff

A friend of the band came up with some visuals to go along with our song "Easy Taiga", pretty fucking cool even if I say so myself.

We are also playing a show supporting Dylan Carlson this Sunday, so we are all pretty excited by that.

Fingers crossed we will have finished our album by the end of the year too.

Do you know Jan Burnett of Spare Snare? Is he still in Aberdeen? I'm an old friend of his.

So we have a new song from the album uploaded for a limited time to stream. It's part of promotions for a club night that the band have started. I thought that I would share it here anyway, as you guys usually give good feedback.

Sounds more like to a nod to Eno and Fripp, good stuff though, I enjoyed it.
