My action is incredibly low, so I feel when I dig into my picking I am getting a lot of pluck from bouncing off the 22nd fret. I'm debating raising it a bit to see if it helps. It also is slightly difficult to do octaving chords with the action where it is. Besides that I love it. Compared to the Bluesboy it seems to have a bit brighter highs in the bridge pup, but the Bluesboy cuts through more. The seth lover in the bluesboy seems to have a hotter output than the neck 57, but they are still both really ballsy. I'm trying to listen to what you were talking about in the middle position, but mine appears to be alright. I actually love the volume and tone pots as they are too, I can get really smooth volume swells with the right hand. My only quark right now is the pluckiness. It's like when I try to mute certains strings while chording they will still hit harmonics because of how close the action is.

Its like some one knew what my dream setup was, then purchased it and taunted me with photographs.

Oh awesome, so it was a similar result that you had as well? Great. That makes me excited, I was worried it was going to be a problem I possibly wouldn't get over. Hadn't had a chance to raise it yet so I just keep dwelling on it.
The action was really low on mine too, but I raised it a bit and everything is fine now...or my taste anyways. Glad you like it! :thu:

Man it is killer. I didn't think I liked it at first but now I just love it. For low gain or for med/hi gain is slays, its so harmonically rich.
Hows the stone grey??
