The Hardwire Tremolo/Rotary thingy really intrigues me. If I was buying a trem pedal, that's the first one I'd try... seems bitchin. It has bias tremolo (my favorite) and a bunch of other stuff.
Or I'd just get a TR-2
That's a good Boss pedal. Tremolo does not need to cost a lot.

Start saving for a Flint.
Ask Strymon to sell you Flint Trem in a single box.Yeah just the Flint would be cool actually. I don't need the reverb side as I have that covered. They do have tremolo and just about all modulation sounds in the Mobius modulation pedal. But I'd have to sell a bunch of stuff for that pedal, and I don't think I really want something that does so much, but I bet it sounds tits.
The nice thing about the Mobius for trem is that it has a fuckton of different trems that all sound good. Beyond Optical/Harmonic (godly)/Bias you also have the pattern trem which can be used eitehr with patterns as intended or as a regular trem (you jsut activate beat 1 only) and that way you get a ton of extra waveforms in stereo. Additionally, yo can use the quadrature mode as an am/ringmod-based tremolo and THAT has a ton of waveforms that allow you to vary the rate of the "tremolo" over time with an LFO. Included in that is the ability to use its envelope waveshape to trigger a tremvelope effec like so:

On the subject of envelope trems I'll chime in with this if I may... Though IRG did say he wanted simples. Mellow Yellow would be pretty cool if you need something simple and bootweak.

That's a really nice trem too, yeah. I had one for a while until I ended up needing cash or something.
Also, the flint does have stereo inputs. You just need to plug a Y cable into the input so you don't short one to ground.

DOes look good. The new price though is almost the same as the Hardwire, which I like better, more options too without being ridiculous.

I liked the sound of it, but it's a bit more percussive than what I'm after, and I also think it's singular purpose (like the Mad Prof and others) may in the end be a little too simple for me.

Has anyone mentioned the Mooer Trelicopter? Cheap, and sounds really really good. No tap, but it's a brilliant recreation of the tremulator, and the size is a plus. It's won it's way back onto my board.

I keep going back to the Tuna Melt. I've tried a fair number of other trem pedals, but the Tuna Melt does everything I need it to do. Simple, cheap (I think I paid $8 for mine used), sounds great, and fits in my pocket.

I have the Red Witch Pentavocal Trem as well and it is quite good...just wish it had tap tempo sometimes. I've also loved the demos I've heard of the Young Pedals The Looker trem. Burg does a great demo of it (like all his demos).
Thanks. For what it's worth, I like the tiny but capable Guyatone VTm5 (vid below) and the reasonably new Dawner Prince Starla (vid also below). The Starla is more trem than I need so I opt for the Guyatone which has been on my board for the past couple of months.
With all due repect to the other manufacturers, of course...

I have two trems: Lovetone Wobulator and the ZVEX Seek Trem. While I love the Wob, the Seek Trem is the titties for me. Very underrated, I think. You can do so much with it.
