Yeah, got a Molten Midi 5 to make even crazier sounds with my whammy 5. Great tool, and also a great way to make your guitar not sound like a guitar anymore.
Does require some time to mess around with it and know what's what.
Pics or it's a horse:
And a larger shot to show off my old Ibanez Artist and pedalboard:

Why the hell are my pictures so crap. They look perfectly fine on my pc, and this forum makes them all hazy and pixeled...
Are you selecting the largest size option when you upload and insert them?
Congrats on the Molten MIDI 5 - it's a really cool pedal and it adds a lot to the Whammy 5. I did a review of it a while back, if anyone would like to check it out, just click on that link in the previous sentence.

you're not wrong.
so, what is it actually capable of / how are you using it? any chance of a demo?
You can make programs with it, which are basically sequences of whammy settings (you can control both the rotary knob and the expression pedal position).
So I will be using it first of all to be able to go through different whammy modes without having to turn the knob (very useful during a live show), but also to play crazy riffs (you can use it to program up to 16 steps). This video shows what it can do, I don't have any decent recording gear to do a demo myself:

so you could program it to hit any pitch on a +2 octave whammy mode, and step up and down to any pitch one seperate modes? including inbetween pitches for some out of tune notes?
Not sure about the "inbetween" pitches, but yeah, I guess you've got it. Also, tap tempo if you want it to loop a sequence of pitchshifting steps. Also, "portamento", so gliding between the steps.
