So, this thing is **bleep** ridiculous. I've had it for an hour or two and Ive already got a couple sounds Im happy with. I stole some basic starting points from a youtube video and just started tweeking knobs and seeing how the controls interact. I don't know if I'll ever have an actual use for it, but its got a ton of stoner-time appeal.

Congrats! I thought about picking one up too, especially since they are discontinued now

Didn't know they were discontinued. I was just excited to see something decent come through the pawn shop. Generally that place is a graveyard of Starcasters and BC Rich abominations.
It is definitely entertaining, I still might have to get a simple chorus pedal to cover some basic sounds, but there are ton of options in the FH.

when did they discontinue them? they're still listed on the EHX website and still available at the few places I checked.

It sounds... like a lot of things. I bought it used, so I got no instructions and apart from the obvious stuff (Mod rate, blend ect) I have no idea what most of the controls do. So I checked a few youtube vids and wrangled some basic chorus, flange, phase and vibe sounds and started tweeking. I found a ton of good tones along those lines. I played around with the oscillation a bit last night too. **bleep** gets wierd. Good times.
It doesn't like being in the effects loop of my amp (seems to overload the input) but it sounds great out front. I haven't really noticed a big volume drop, or a bunch of noise, but I haven't been playing very loudly either, so we'll see how that works out this week at practice. The biggest problem that I have with it, from a functionality standpoint is that it doesn't have a foot controller option. I'd like to be able to save some presets. As it is, when find a sound I like, I snap a pic of the controls so that I have a reference point.

I don't think they're discontinued...They're still stocked on MF and other stores.
Definitely poke around this thread:
There are some awesome settings people have posted, and a cool little layout for writing presets on.
