Re: NAMM: Guild reissues some older models (Starfire content)

This one is my DeArmond Starfire Custom. Like the guy above I'd like to add that badass offset SG to my stable.

Listen to my band's new song "Clover" and download our albums free. modgun.bandcamp.com

They're asking $5k for the American built M-75....

Re: NAMM: Guild reissues some older models (Starfire content)

Wasn't the Hamer shop being switched over to U.S. Guild production.

It's some cool stuff.  Especially the Starfire Bass reissue with the Bisonic and the archtops with vintage style single coils.  I imagine I'm not going to find much of any of it in my budget.  Hopefully it helps cap the market for older Guilds -- they've been going up lately.

I want the SG, the pickups on these guitars are killer.

I doubt the pickups in the reissues will be much like the originals. I really like the SG though. Are they MIK?

This.

There's a guy that brings an early 1960s Starfire III to some of my gigs so he can hear me play it. Nice guitar. It looks like this:

StarfireIII

That's awesome. I'm excited; it would be better if they had more finish options, but it's cool they're doing it in the first place.

Yep, my store ordered a bunch last week. Can't wait to get em in!

We've had a t500 for a bit that's just amazing.
