I did a solo gig at a hotel bar where Tim Allen (Home Improvement, Galaxy Quest, etc.) was in the audience along with the Nelson twins, Rick Nelson's sons. On my first break, the Nelson twins told me they had their guitars in the car and asked if they could sit in with me for a set. So that's what we did, playing mostly oldies and some of their dad's hits. Then Tim Allen came up and did an hour long monologue for the small crowd. When he was finished, he announced, "Now, here's the act you really came to see. Ladies and Gentlemen, it's Michael D!"
Larry Santos was at my folks' house once and I recall playing some DEVO riffs when he was in my room for a few minutes.

The closest that I have come is when ChristianATL called me a "basement wizard" on this very forum. I felt that I was in the presence of greatness and have used it to enhance my life from that moment on.
