I was 21 when Loveless was released, and I had an advance promo copy of it before it was officially released. It immediately rocked my world, and I could not stop listening to it. I knew even then that it was way ahead of its time.
So I call bullshit on that theory. Just sayin'.

I'm happy it makes people happy; a lot of my friends were at Sire when Loveless was (in endless) pre-release ... I think that's an amazing, classic album. I'm also a huge Primals fan, and wanted very much to like this. I just don't. There are indeed great albums being released these days, just not by Kevin "do I really have to get up and get my own bong?" Shields.
Anyhow.
Hoping to see some of you who seem inclined towards interesting guitar music at the Psychfest this April. Moving Sidewalks AND Deerhunter = win.

Loveless pretty much had an immediate impact. It was a thing, even way back when.
