I've had my DL4 for a few years now, never had any problems with it but I have recently started becoming interested in the Strymon Timeline. High price tag, but it sounds really damn nice. If I sold my DL4, would the Timeline be able to do everything that the DL4 can but better? Would I be better off holding onto my DL4?
Oh and I play music that sounds kind of like Snowmine and Bravestation. A good amount of post-rock type stuff too.

Massive plot twist: I ended up ordering an El Capistan instead of the Timeline, and I'm going to keep my DL4. The Timeline seems like a really nice pedal, but I realized that I only really liked the sound of the dTape and dBucket settings on it. So why not make life a little simpler and just get an El Cap?
Thanks for the help anyways guys. I appreciate it.

I think you made a good decision with keeping the DL-4 and getting El Cap.
