Is it worth selling my DL4 for a Timeline?

I've had my DL4 for a few years now, never had any problems with it but I have recently started becoming interested in the Strymon Timeline.   High price tag, but it sounds really damn nice.  If I sold my DL4, would the Timeline be able to do everything that the DL4 can but better?  Would I be better off holding onto my DL4?

Oh and I play music that sounds kind of like Snowmine and Bravestation.  A good amount of post-rock type stuff too.

Re: Is it worth selling my DL4 for a Timeline?

Massive plot twist: I ended up ordering an El Capistan instead of the Timeline, and I'm going to keep my DL4. The Timeline seems like a really nice pedal, but I realized that I only really liked the sound of the dTape and dBucket settings on it.  So why not make life a little simpler and just get an El Cap?

Thanks for the help anyways guys.  I appreciate it.

I think you made a good decision with keeping the DL-4 and getting El Cap.

Yeah, good call on that. I'd rather the El Cap myself.

What the hell is this! A thread about effects?

You're supposed to be talking about chupacabras or Lincoln or Lou Speed or whatever.

Seriously though, if might be worth keepking the DL4 and then selling it off I you really the the Timeline.
