tell us about that doubleneck? did you buy it? build it? it looks like the pickups are wired to independant outs.
I have always really liked the idea of a doubleneck because I play both guitar and bass, and I love stuff thats a little bit off the beaten path.

The double neck is one that I assembeled, with a bit of help with drilling. It is finished in tru oil. Parts wise- The body is from Warmoth. The guitar neck is a mighty mite telecaster maple rosewood. The bass neck isn't a bass neck. It is actually a baritone guitar neck drilled and fit to be work as a short scalebass neck. The neck came from Warmoth un-drilled and unfinished. The guitar pickups are b stock from Rose Pickups. The bass pickup is a dual rail humbucker lil'puncher from guitar fetish. Each section is wired independently. In total it cost me around 700-800 dollars. You could easily keep it under 1K if you scrimp hard enough. However, this thing weighs a fucking metric ton... If I had to do it all again (which I'm thinkig about doing) I'd find a way to shed more weight without making it off balance- and get someone with more skill in finishing to help.

Sounds great. What looper are you using?
Thank you! Here is a picture of my board. I use the m9 into the m13 into the Headrush. I use all of them for looping.

Cool vid. Cool double neck too, never seen one like that.
Thanks, I've posted it in the DIY thread when I had it assemebled. This is my first real project with it, seeing as my last one fell through.

to quote, hit reply, and then in the upper right there is a quote button. not very intuitive placement, but once you find it it's not difficult to use.

Thats a really neat way to do it and not be stuck with the P-strat body that warmoth does. It also makes sense to me to have a short scale neck to make jumping between guitar and bass easier. very cool.
