You think you've got it bad - except for when it's used in sigs (which I'm told will eventually also break), whenever someone uses / used the phil thumbs up emoticon, this is what it displays: hil:

I don't mean to be overly sensitive, but it's enough to make you wonder if they're planning on phasing me out entirely...

Actually, I see no reason why we can't use those still if we want to. I have permission to use them, and it's my image, so there's no copyright issue. It's just a matter of whether you guys want them back or not, and whether or not Lithium can import them. I don't see why that would / should be a problem though. I DEFINITELY want better emoticons for us than what we currently have. With a non-verbal form of communication such as a forum, they help convey intent, etc.

I've got a nice collection of phil emoticons I've managed to collect from you nuts over the years, and yes, as far as I'm concerned, we can continue to use them. We've asked Lithium about the possibility of adding more emoticons, and I believe someone on the GC design team is working on more alternative smilies... but if you want the phil stuff back, or even added to, tell them over in the feedback forum. They can't claim copyright - it's my image, and I'm okay with it if that's what you guys want.
