shiiiiiiiiiiiit, someone finally stepped up and made a pedal sized step sequencer like I've been asking for years. yeah, it would have been nice to go with knobs instead of sliders (seriously EHX, what's with the sliders all the time?) to save space or have 16 steps in the same sized box, but that's a hell of a start. I def. see myself picking one up, maybe more than one if it really is $130.

Is there a reason for not including multiple exp/cv out jacks on the 8 Step Program? Or is there another way to sync a couple of instruments/pedals? Maybe a Y-cable or splitter box?

Otherwise it looks great. I would like to try it with my Geiger Counter to make something of a step crusher.

So the 8 Step Sequencer not only triggers CV inputs, but Exp inputs as well?

So it can be used with: the TubeEQ, the Worm, the Holiest Grail, the Enigma and Riddle, the Deluxe Memory Man w/ Tap Tempo, the HOG and HOG2, the Stereo PolyPhase, the Bi-Filter, the vintage Instant Replay and Super Replay, the DRM 16...?

Am I missing anything else EHX?

Did everyone see the blurb on the website about the Epitome?  I was originally thinking I'd pass on this because I preferred the Micro Pog pre-dirt.... but now THIS is interesting:

Switch on Shimmer to re-route the effects. Now the Grail reverberates the POG’s wet signal and the Mistress completes the chain to add lush flanging to the reverb tails. Shimmer also transforms the Grail into a digital delay with the POG in its feedback path for inspiring ascending and descending octave effects.

With that in mind, I'm sort of seeing the Epitome is a super deluxe reverb pedal.  Imagine a reverb pedal that had adustable modulation as well as upper and lower octave 'shimmer' efects?  Well, EHX just made one.
