so i was at a dude's house the other day and it turns out he had one of the ernie ball earthwood acoustic basses. they were made frorm 70-72 and were the first "acoustic bass" that wasn't an upright. co designed by george fullerton and just sonic fucking thunder. i need one so bad.

Steve Klein made some acoustic basses like that in the '70s, too.
They look and sound so cool, that I am getting more interested in the bass than ever before.

For real though, playing acoustic = not brutal. But bass = cool.
