That is a lot of roto-toms. You need the roto-tom snare thingy. I want to say the were made my a company called Farchie or something like that.

I remember them well. We sold a few sets, but they never really caught on.

They didn't last very long however. I remember taking a yellow kit on trade in those, and reworking that kit so it had black pinstripping all over the yellow shells. (back in the Stryper days).

As a solid yellow, it sat for 6 months, after the black stripping, it lasted 6 hours and was sold.

Too funny the things that are out there!

I still see them around from time to time. Ebay had a few pieces for sale. I never saw any other color than chrome, though.

The drums in the video are not roto-toms.
Here's a tip - if you put out some horrible lo-fi recording that sounds like a Gorilla banging an antelope while using a vacuum with a bad belt drive to suck up a floor full of marbles and silverware - and folks don't line up in mass numbers to hop on your wagon... maybe it ain't us who don't "get it". - THX1138

Re: I have an unhealthy obsession with Roto Toms.

I bought 4 more roto toms. I couldn't say no to an 8-10-12-14 set for $25. They will sit in the corner until I have need of them. I really need another 16 or an 18. Must keep watching.

No but they function and sound per the way most drummers use 'em.

Now you need some roto-cymbals, too

Those would be roto-symbols, but you're close
