Hey guys,
Thinking about jumping on the STOTD today.. What do ya think? Are they worth it?
Never played them, and yeah I know Made in China and all that, but are they any good?

No, I'll have to search eBay and you guys for used stands and stuff. I'd bet these are on par with the Stage Customs I used to have.

Re: Gretsch any good?

That might be a stretch but keep your fingers crossed. The Gretsch edges might be rounded although it doesn't say so there. Softer attack. Mellower sound than Yamaha maybe...

I have a Gretsch Catalina Club that I love. Quality drums, quality hardware. You probably wouldn't be disappointed.
