so i picked up a kitty hawk midi patch bayette 1 off ebay, the ad stated power tested only, sold as is. i figured the chances it didn't work were pretty good but i have been watching for one of these for some time and figured i would take a chance.
plug it in and the power rocker switch lights up but thats it. none of the loop in/outs have continuity nor does the main input to the main output. also none of the loop indicating led's light up at all.
i open the unit up and look inside i see stickers on the inside that read 220v 50hz 550w!!, but looking at the transformer it is labled "bayette" and "110v". the unit had a regular 3 prong 110v cord end on it. there is also a sticker on the bottom of the top cover that goes from one end to the other that says on it kitty hawk triumph and it has speaker output impedance's on it. i believe the triumph is one of their amps? wrong cover?
when powered up, reading on the input terminals of the transformer i get my 120v, on the secondaries there are 3 terminals with these readings on them:
outside to outside - 20v middle to outside 1 - 10v middle to outside 2 - 10v
anybody have any idea's? or something else i can test to try to get to the bottom of this?
