Re: The Morning Drive CD

Today's selection:

"Love Junk" by a little known Canadian group called Pursuit Of Happiness. I've had the tape for years and finally got it burned to CD. Excellent writing, both musically and lyrically. The "big hit" was "I'm An Adult Now".

Re: The Morning Drive CD

I listened to Dream Theater's "Metropolis Pt 2: Scenes From A Memory" the other day.

Hooo man!!! I would LOVE to play that kinda stuff in a band....like "Strange Deja Vu" for instance......some of that stuff teeters on the edge of being orgasmic!

I was thinking of chopping the intro and outro of "Finally Free" and singing it for the vocal solo division of our upcoming school music festival.

Another one I thought of was "Another Day" by DT.....but I doubt I can pitch that (let alone simultaneously play a guitar). Any thoughts?

Re: The Morning Drive CD

New Peter Gabriel. About halfway through. First song, I thought it was "Security II", but it hasn't stayed as dark.

Pretty darn good so far.
