This morning it was "Lark's Tongues in Aspic". I needed to wake up.

Rush - Exit Stage Left - A Passage To Bangkok
Rush - Moving Pictures - YYZ
Alex Lifeson - Victor - Strip and Go Naked (It's a really nice instrumental)
Rush - A Show of Hands - Distant Early Warning
Shadow Gallery - Carved in Stone - Warcry
Pink Floyd - PULSE - What Do You Want From Me?
Pink Floyd - PULSE - Another Brick in the Wall Pt. 2

Re: The Morning Drive CD

This morning (and every morning I can con a vehicle with a CD player away from my wife) was Bob Mould , in some configuration, as well as other selections. This morning in particular was Sugar's "Beaster". A clarion wake up call was needed. Yesterday was Son Volt's "Trace".

I highly recommend. Doc called it the most exciting CD to come out in 10 years and I think he may be right.

Re: The Morning Drive CD

Trace is some good stuff. I've been listening to Wilco's A.M. which you also might like. Its the first of theirs after Uncle Tupelo split. I've also been listening to a double CD of Gram Parsons (Grievous Angel, and somethin' else). That is nice too.

Re: The Morning Drive CD

Ya know, I've got "old 97s - fight songs" and it just didn't do it for me. I really like the genre, and I sorta like the band, but the singer has clearly listened to an excessive amount of britpop. They just don't seem to go together.
