Yow! Thanks for mentioning this one - I've haven't listened in years, but I'll root it out this evening. What a great band Gong were, and when Steve Hillage arrived, they got a great big dose of guitar - wonderful...:smileyvery-happy:
It's incredible how you forget stuff - this thread's a great memory-jogger. :smileyhappy:

Re: The Morning Drive CD

Dig it, Hoop, YaYas was the soundtrack to a good portion of my youth, had no idea it had been remastered. In my mind, its always been one of the better sounding stones records. Can't wait to hear it.

I used to love Midnight Rambler. So much better than the studio version.

They just released all the early Stones stuff up to "Sticky Fingers" remastered. So far, I have repurchased "Ya Ya's", "Beggars Banquet", & "Let It Bleed". They are much improved.

Dave ... you deserve it .... it's good on all levels. I was really listening close to your guitar lines (hidden nuggets) throughout the CD.

Must've Been High <--album title, that is.
You alt/country/blues/rock/derelict types surely would dig them if you don't already.
Check 'em out

That's the only Supersuckers album I like, great twangy Spaghetti Western type guitars on that one.

Today I have Scissorfight: "Man Hunting For Sport and Profit" and The Bottle Rockets tribute to Doug Sahm: "Songs of Sahm."

Thanks for the info. I may go ahead and get it. I've got a free columbia house CD coming to me and this is one of the choices.
