Yeah I had to use a name that was **bleep** banned years ago... It wont let me recover the **bleep** one I used but it will let me have the banned one.

I can't muster up a fart for how much I care that the place has changed.. Who **bleep** cares.. Hell, I think I actually like the censor.. If you are somewhat intelligent you should be able to beat it rather easily, or *gasp* type without cursing! I know, its still super cool to say bad words that made mommy wash your mouth with soap, but she's upstairs and too old to come down to your corner of the basement and do it anyway, so the fun should be gone, right? Well to be fair, the announcement that sat fixed at the top of the old forum quite clearly said in it that PMs couldn't be transferred across to the new forum and thus would be lost. And also to be fair, although I never tried to see if the function actually worked, there was an option in your PMs to export to various formats (text, csv, etc.).

So if you'd been a bit smarter about it, you wouldn't have lost that information. If I was in the middle of a deal when the forums were changing over, I'd probably have just not taken any chances. Export all the PMs, and move the dealings over to emails or whatever anyway.
