For the forum? im just wondering
Im NOT trolling or trying to be a wizeazz, - can Anderton or someone inform us whats the next thing? .. Improvements? upgrades? - going back to V Bulletin?
Is there a timeframe or 'window' to check things out? feedback?, etc, etc What are other options going foward?
Just curious and im 110% serious

That's a very good question, and thanks for realizing there is such a thing as "the future." In the real world, when a company comes out with a new version of software, there are always bugs and issues that need to be addressed. Users go on the company forums and complain about how terrible it is and how they're going to change to a different product, but some people submit bug reports and try to effect change. The company collects these, goes through them, and does as many fixes as possible. Some are quick fixes that come out in a matter of days or weeks, others are folded into a future update. The same model applies here.
The big point a lot of people are missing is that the hardware infrastructure is working just fine. It's fast, it's stable, and it runs circles around any previous incarnation of HC, even when vBulletin was working properly. That's the part that's tough to change. Again, it's like music hardware products; the outside hardware pretty much stays the same, the changes come from firmware and software updates. The same is true here.
There are plenty of people who actually care about these forums and are therefore making constructive suggestions for improvement. Many are being implemented right now. For example, the Cool Jam posts were supposed to migrate over, but they got lost. IT found them and linked them to the correct forum, but not before people were ripping into HC for betraying them and killing Cool Jam without even telling them. But it was never killed, or even injured. It was just hiding, and as soon as they found it, the problem was fixed.

What is the deal with the thread subjects so narrowly wrapped over to the left? Whats with that nonsense section easting up lot of space that could be used for the thread subjects list section? PLEASE get rid of that!! Or at very least move it below the list of threads. If there are few people that really like that and you want to give them a configuartion to turn that nonsense back on by all means do so.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE post your comments in the Feedback Forum. That's the only way to make sure that the people who can do something about the situation will see your post.

Thanks Anderton for addressing some things, you know your going to get some **bleep** for the change - where is the actual place we can post thoughts and ideas?
Where is the feedback section where we can talk about things, like the fake band in blue on the side borders(sooo facking cheesey and dumb) and the wasted space that the other posted mentioned
The emoticans are REALLY weak and stupid as well, that may sound 'dumb' ,but thats a small part of who we are, there really weak

I can live with the new **bleep** layout. I can live with a million sub menus just to get to amp forum and the classifieds which are the two places i frequented the most. I can live with the complete mess of posting on this software. What I cannot stand and will be the reason I wont want to stick around is the corperate **bleep** environment MF has made this. Yeah we get the point MF you sell gear and its abundantly clear with the HUGE banners and reminders at every single destination you click. The censorship, the brand whoring and the forced change all points to the fact that muscians friend is not in the business of bringing musicians together to talk about gear and life, they are in the business to make money off of us. I feel like a corralled gear **bleep** being forced to pay retail on their **bleep** website. Im very sad to see this happen again to a place I made my home for 7 years. I really loved HC it was like the one place I could go to grab a laugh or two when I was having a tough day or to drool over gear pron or to just feel like I was at a bar stool kicking it with friends. MF will never get a penny from me again after this, thanks guys.
