I am considering upgrading my Fender GDec 15 to either a Peavy Vypyr® Viperer 3 or a Line 6 Spider Jam 75. I like the different instrument models and the additional effects on the Peavy. I also like the ability to reduce the power from 100watts down to 1 watt or somewhere in between.
The Line 6 has a 100 jam tracks on it which is also very attractive but fewer effects.
I am stuck. The Peavey retails for $299 or a little less and the Line 6 is $399. Vox also has their valvetronix VT 80 which has 33 looping jam track songs, the power attenuator and 33 effects for $ 349.
I am sort of an intermediate player, (retired, 65 years) and play for myself mostly and fooling around with effects and models is what I want to do….endless enterainment. I currently have a Bogner 5 watt tube amp and the GDec which I want to sell.
Your advice, comments, guidance opinions are important to me. Being on fixed income, I can't afford huge mistakes. In Twin Falls, Idaho there are no Guitar Centers or any large stores that carry these amps to preview by the way.

Definitely the Vox Valvetronix. ^ is the only person who hasn't been able to use one properly, evidently.
