Fuck. Some things never change. Way to go guy.
I know. You are right? I came off a little stern....but I think saying take a 100 bucks for it because I got a Twin for less than 500 isn't very helpfull. Ya know?
I've rarely deleted my posts. But you are right, I did show poor judgement. and that's not me. Dude was trying to help. I'm TRYING to be new and helpful. You found one post out of how many? Some things indeed do, never change.

I don't see why you deleted your post, it didn't hurt my feelings. I understand that it is a bitter pill to swallow that your amp isn't really worth anything in the current market, and I also know the key thing we forget when we say things like "don't shoot the messenger" is that such sayings wouldn't exist if messengers didn't tend to get shot from time to time. I mentioned the Twin to provide something called perspective. I get the sense that you are an angry dude and I don't really give a shit(except your "cool story bro" directed at an earlier poster, that is just douchery) as it is just the internet, but prospective buyers often do. I think that you might need to experience a philosophical shift before you manage to sell this amp, no matter what price you list it at.

I'm not really an angry dude. I'm a little intense for most people's liking. I guess you could say that I ALWAYS give a shit, and it's often misunderstood. As I told you, I SINCERELY appreciate your input and anyone who is sticking around during this time of change has my respect. If I am an idiot fine. If I am socially inept, fine. If I am not cool...fine! But I have rarely, if ever, tried to intentionally bullshit people. See my posts. I have been nothing BUT supportive and positive, and I actually don't give a shit what people say or think to the contrary.
I only felt that trotting out anecdotal experience about a specific amp wasn't all that helpful. DWXJFER actually seemed more helpful about selling my amp...and I know he was being facetious. (this is the style of my humor, it doesn't translate well on the internet!).
I actually have had some bites the last couple of days. One guy says he wants to meet up to transact. We shall see. I think my lesson here is to just be patient. Right after Christmas and before Taxes aren't a great time to sell lower tier items, and that even in a good economy and high demand.
If this thing is only....ever....worth =<100 dollars...well okay fine. Then I have a coffee table. LOL?

Why cant I sell this amp?
Because the market doesnt support the price right now.
Yes it does, the amp sounds good, why cant I sell it?
Because no one is willing to pay that price.
Yes they are, its totally worth it, it sounds good. Why cant I sell it?
Because people dont want to spend that kind of money on a used SS amp. For a little more they could get a used tube amp. Maybe even a vintage Fender.
Thats an anecdote! this amp sounds good, why cant I sell it?

Okay...last update....amp is sold. A very easy transaction $175. A little bit lower than what I wanted though but no ebay bullshit THANKGOD!
Thanks to everyone who responded! Yes Sg and even Kuyleah....dude almost 6 years and you have 580 posts? WTH? ten posts a year huh? Well...you would have fit in very well with everyone who left, but nice to see you are filling the void nicely. :womanvery-happy: Question though...dow do you pronounce your user name and where did it come from?
For future reference....Sometimes patience is required. Keep a fair market price, even if you take a loss. I also recommend not posting on a wise-cracking messageboard whining and complaining like a little bitch because it will likley seel just a couple of days after you do that. Or maybe that is what you want to do. :womanwink:

Maybe it was your math skills that were hampering you from selling the amp?
