FX that work with JVM loop?

I just picked up a JVM 210H and I love the sounds this thing gets. But the FX loop isn't the same as my last amp. It doesn't take my pedals or GT-6 well at all.
I think it's better suited for rack effects like a TC Major where you have the ability to set the mix (in the fx processor) to 100% wet and run the mix ctl on the amp like a parallel loop.

What say you?

2 loops

I think the JVM has 2 differnet loops (a paralell and 1 serial loop)

Since you have rackmounts and pedals, i would try them in different loops with different signals and see what reacts with what and go from there, then play with the mix amount of each one, i think thats a start for you

Good luck, very cool amps keep us posted :thu:

Re: FX that work with JVM loop?

The parallel loop seems to work with anything I've put in there, as long as it's set right. (100% wet, +4/-10 switch set correctly) I've found the series loop does not work well with pedals.

Re: FX that work with JVM loop?

I'd search the jvm forum there are whole threads dedicated to how the loops work (parallel mixes 50% signal with 50% buffered raised signal copy so it can be used as a solo boost for example!) where the serial is more of an insert power amp in loop if I remember. Or is it also buffered? Anyway, lots of technical info and the common result is, the tc g major is excellent with the JVM and the parallel loop can be hard bypassed or brought in to the signal path so you can put a crappy behringer delay pedal without ruining your rythm sound!
